Christmas 2006

The boys pose for a quick picture after church so they can change back into their comfy clothes. Christmas was spent at the Coady household in Hebron (the first time in several years). With two new grandchildren it made for a full house (in Coady standards that is). It was nice to spend Christmas with everyone under one roof and to have plenty of time to enjoy everyone.

Molly Madness

At 21 months, Molly is loads of fun and adorable too. The four older grandkids wore her out, and nobody could resist those baby blues.

Cecilia meets the bunch

The newest member of the Coady Clan, Jon and Amy's daughter Cecilia, got plenty of cuddle time with everyone, as we all took turns holding her and commenting that she has the Coady lips.

The Foursome

Christmas morning was a little delayed, as the kids got up at 6:30 and we made them wait about 4 hours to open presents. Still, they handled the delay quite well (except Owen who asked every few minutes if he could get started). Here they are wearing the knitted hats from Lillian.

Owen and Santa

Owen decided that he is not too big for Santa, at least if he wants to get anything for Christmas. Pierce, of course, stood on the sidelines and made fun of him.

Candy Cane Kid

Owen got to be the hero in this year's program by saving Christmas as the Candy Cane Kid. He really wanted a speaking part and spent a lot of time practicing, even before he got the part. I have no idea where he gets his enthusiasm for the stage. Posted by Picasa

Confirmation

Pierce was confirmed this past November and got to meet the Bishop. Posted by Picasa

Godparents

It was a Dougherty gathering, as Mike and Cheryl (Pierce's godparents) came for the event. Posted by Picasa

Sponsor

Phillip Dougherty serves as Pierce's confirmation sponsor. Posted by Picasa

Halloween

Homecoming

Owen tries to win the T-town tradition of seeing who can come up with the best black/gold outfit during the school's Homecoming spirit week. He made it himself . . . Posted by Picasa
